Volunteer Judges Needed

Minnesota Collegiate DECA has a Career Development Conference each year. This conference provides student members the opportunity to compete in a number of events related to the fields of accounting, finance, marketing, management, retail, hospitality, tourism or entrepreneurship . Students compete to earn the right to advance to competition at the International Career Development Conference.

This year’s conference will be February 16-17, 2017 at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest Hotel in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Minnesota Collegiate DECA is actively searching for business professionals to serve as competitive event judges.

By volunteering your time and expertise, you will be helping college students that will become the next generation of leaders and entrepreneurs. All volunteers will receive coffee, rolls and lunch.

Judges are needed on Friday, February 17th. The schedule is as follows:

7:45 AM Judges Orientation

8:15 AM – 11:00 AM Competitive Events Judging

11:00 AM – 12:00 PM Judge Networking and Luncheon

12:00 – 4:00 PM Preliminary Competitive Events Judging
